Privacy Policy

Foreword does not maintain a database of users or user inputs. The only information we process is the text you type into the input field when requesting a book recommendation.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, device identifiers, or any other personal information. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools. We have no user accounts and no login system.

When you submit your text, it is transmitted to the third-party services listed below to generate your recommendation. It is not stored on any Foreword server — there is no Foreword server. Processing happens entirely between your browser and these external APIs.

Once your session ends or you click "Try Again," nothing from your input persists anywhere in our systems.

Your input is shared with the following services to make the recommendation work. Each governs their own data handling under their respective privacy policies.

Foreword retains no data. Your input exists only in your browser's memory for the duration of your session. When you close the tab, refresh the page, or click "Try Again," it is gone.

We have no ability to retrieve, review, or delete your past inputs because we never stored them.

Foreword is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly process information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used this service, please contact us using the details below.

Foreword is built on Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic. By using this application, your inputs are subject to Anthropic's usage policies in addition to this privacy policy. You can review Anthropic's policies at anthropic.com/legal.

If this policy changes in a material way — for example if we add analytics, user accounts, or any form of data storage — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Foreword after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
